The Cars

  • Buggy

    Buggies are quick, light, and fast reacting,  with narrow tires, minimal bodies, and the signature wing finish the iconic open wheel look.  Available in 2WD and 4WD varieties, racing in separate classes, buggies are an off-road staple class and a crowd pleaser.  Buggy models such as TLR Racing, Team Associated, Xray and more are available in our Hobby Store. 

  • Stadium Trucks

    Stadium trucks are the slightly wider, larger tired cousin to Buggies.  Still open wheel, but no wing, and a larger coverage body.  Stadium trucks are a little easier to drive, but that doesn't make the racing less exciting.

  • Short Course Trucks

    Short Course Trucks look like the full size thing.  Full coverage bodies that cover the wheels and tires allow for real "fender rubbing" contact racing, while "under the lid" you have the tunability of a stadium truck.

Offroad "Weekly" Classes

Offroad races every Tuesday Night with heats start at 6:30 PM and dors opening for practice at 12:00PM

Rules?

Rules can be a bummer, but racing on a "level field" is hopefully enough reward to get through this bit.


Efforts are being made through the class listings to help represent popular classes based on turnout.  Classes are not completely ranked, however, those listed in the "Weekly" category have a much firmer chance of being run regularly.

17.5 Buggy 2WD

Chassis per ROAR rulebook section 1.1.1

        Minimum weight 1474g

Motor -  Roar Approved 17.5T Motor

ESC - ROAR approved ESC in Blinky (0/non-timing mode)

Wheels - 2.2" buggy wheels to meet specifications in ROAR rules book section 1.1

Tires - any carpet buggy tires

Battery -  Roar Legal 2s LiPo battery. (Maximum voltage 8.40v)


13.5 T Short Course Truck

      Body - full tire coverage Short Course
