    • High Speeds: Capable of reaching speeds over 50 MPH, making them some of the fastest RC cars available.

  • Pan Cars

    RC Pan Cars are specialized remote-controlled vehicles designed primarily for on-road racing. They are known for their simplicity, lightweight construction, and high-speed performance.

    • Scale and Design: Typically available in 1/10 and 1/12 scales, RC pan cars feature a flat, low-profile chassis made from materials like fiberglass or graphite.
    • Direct Drive: These cars use a direct-drive system, which means the motor is directly connected to the rear axle, providing efficient power transfer and high speeds.
    • Foam Tires: Equipped with foam tires that offer excellent grip on smooth surfaces like asphalt or carpet tracks.
    • Minimal Suspension: Unlike other RC cars, pan cars have minimal suspension components, relying on chassis flex and tire characteristics for handling.

    At Coastal RC Indoor Speedway and Hobbies, we offer several exciting scale classes that feature realistic bodies and handling characteristics.

    Vintage Trans Am (VTA)

    The Vintage Trans Am (VTA) class showcases large, detailed bodies that replicate the iconic Trans Am racing cars from the 1970s and 80s. These cars are equipped with big rubber tires with treads, providing a nostalgic racing experience.

    LeMans Hypercar (LMH)

    The LeMans Hypercar (LMH) class features hyper-realistic bodies inspired by the hypercars commonly seen in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. These cars run on slick touring car tires and are powered by a 25.5 turn motor. The high downforce design of these bodies ensures exceptional handling, making them the ultimate racing machines.

Efforts are being made through the class listings to help represent popular classes based on turnout.  Classes are not completely ranked, however, those listed in the "Weekly" category have a much firmer chance of being run regularly.

World GT-R (Rubber Tires)

1/10 scale Pan Chassis per https://www.facebook.com/World-GT-R1432819083714682/ (rules

     You may use a specific 1 cell speed control, or a two cell speed control with an external 

                  booster. 

     Stock 2 or 4 cap banks that come with the ESC's only. There will be a limit of 10,000 

                  micro farad on cap banks.

     Maximum Voltage from battery and supplied to motor 4.20 V 

     No receiver packs permitted

                               molded letters (either CRC or TCS) must not be removed.

               You are not allowed to add anything to the inside of the tire, no duct tape, no glue 

                              (to the inside), or anything else that did not come from the factory
